This is the privacy statement of Zwemvereniging Torpedo, located in Hilversum, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 40517116, hereinafter referred to as: the Association.

Personal Data

The Association only uses personal data insofar as it is compatible with the stated purposes of processing. We do not process more data than necessary to achieve these purposes.

We process the following personal data:

• Data of individuals under 16 years of age
• First and last name
• Gender
• Date of birth
• Address
• Phone number
• Email address
• KNZB registration number

Purpose and Legal Basis

We process personal data for the following purposes:

• Registering and maintaining contact with members (e.g., via newsletters)
• Tracking swimmer attendance at training and competitions
• Registering membership with the KNZB and applying for a KNZB competition license
• Calculating, recording, and collecting membership fees and other contributions
• Registering for (competitive) swimming events, whether organized by the Association or other clubs, or individually with the KNZB
• Organizing swimming competitions, publishing results, and reporting them to the KNZB

Retention Period

Personal data is retained only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected. Upon termination of membership, data will be deleted within 2 years unless permission is granted to retain it longer for newsletters or reunions.

Sharing with Third Parties

We do not share your data with third parties without your consent, unless necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or if legally required.

Access, Correction, and Deletion

You have the right to request access to your personal data, and to request correction, deletion, or restriction. Identification is required for such requests. Deletion from other organizations must be requested directly from them.

Data Security

We take appropriate measures to protect your data from loss, unauthorized access, publication, and unlawful processing. Access is limited to necessary personnel, and security measures are regularly reviewed.

Minors

Minors must provide explicit consent from a parent or guardian to register.

Purpose of Visual Material: Used solely for promotional purposes, such as sharing events on the website or social media.

Rights of Individuals:

• Access to processed data
• Request correction or deletion
• Withdraw consent at any time

Objections: Objections to the use of images or information can be sent to: webmaster@ztorpedo.nl.

Retention of Visual Material: Stored only as long as relevant for the stated purposes, then securely deleted.
